We hear a lot about the legendary "IFAS Machine".....what many people don't know is that IFAS is a brand name, not a "type" of machine.
There is a MUCH longer and storied history of making and using High Frequency Machines in Europe, particularly in France and Germany.
Fluvita are a very well known and respected name that manufactured machines for over 50 years in one incarnation or another. They were very much the top of the heap in terms of quality of build and serviceability.
Fluvita present a more cost effective alternative to the IFAS while offering very similar performance at less than half the cost of a refurbished IFAS.
This machine dates from the IFAS era - it was made in 1969 and is now housed in a modern sturdy flightcase.
It has been electrically refurbished, tuned, and tested and is ready to go for another few decades!
Suitable for use by the enthusiast or practitioner, these sets were aimed at the therapy market when manufactured. Output is around 75% of an IFAS at full output, which is not problematic as you shouldnt be using it that high for very much at all!
The meter is a nice piece of visual theatre, indicating the output in milliamperes.
